Academic Computing & Instructional Technology Services Center Positions
This student position provides peer technology support for students living in residence halls. Individuals in this position will support and assist resident students with connecting and configuring their computers for the Campus High Speed Network, learning to use basic computer network tools (email, web browsing, etc.), becoming familiar with campus computing resources, and learning and using campus and worldwide academic resources available electronically. Position reports to the User Services Manager.
This student position provides technical assistance to the Applications and Systems Manager. Individuals in this position will support and assist computer lab machines with software installations and testing, and on occasion, hardware maintenance and upgrades. Position reports to the Applications and Systems Manager.
This student position provides general telephone support for the HelpDesk. Strong communication skills are essential to this position. Although technical knowledge is required, general understanding of Windows and Macintosh software and hardware is appreciated. Position reports to the User Services Manager.
